200T Bollards implemented in existing gravity wall quay.

Characteristics

Nyvoll Consult has designed 200T Bollards mounted in an older Brick Stone quay in Stavanger. It was impossible to verify sufficient mooring capacity for larger cruise ships near center of Stavanger. The solution was to build 3 new 200T Bollards in the existing Brick Stone quay wall. The Bollards was founded on steel core piles drilled into hard Rock. Nyvoll Consult as has been the contractors advising engineer in the phase of detail design and erection.

Construction started in autumn 2011 with completion in spring 2012.
